While browsing on the internet, I stumbled across an amazing retro Abbalux DIY lamp on Flickr. I found it worth sharing, enjoy the photo stream and praise the creativity used in making this colourful lamp!

Laborant48, used printer toner foil marvellously and created a master piece in the form of Retro lamp. Not only he has recycled his used toner cartridge foil, but has also re-used the wireframe for lamp which he had found on the street.

Recycling is both cost effective and good for the environment. Here at GreenTech, we’re very enthusiastic about recycling toner cartridges and encourage you to make use of our recycling scheme by sending us your used toner cartridges for remanufacture. However, we were curious as to what are other people around the world were doing with their old printing supplies, so we investigated further.

Cycle Path of Cartridges

West MacDonnell National Park in Australia had the ingenious idea of making a cycle path out of used toner cartridges!

The path connects Alice Springs and Simpson’s Gap, a distance of just over ten-and-a-half miles, and is constructed almost entirely out of recycled printer cartridges.
