Rachel Gets Paid Over £1000 By Recycling Toner Cartridges Since March

Friday, November 5th, 2010

Rachel from Norfolk  is again busy recycling toner cartridges and just sent us her latest batch for which we will be paying her £249.25. Since Rachel started recycling toner cartridges, in  March this year, she has now earned £1079  through the GreenTech website.

Dan, on the GreenTech Helpdesk, has called Rachel and arranged our courier (FedEx) to pick-up Rachel’s old and empty cartridges tomorrow, for free, as we do for every recycler who sends us £20 worth or more.

This latest batch of cartridges includes the in-demand Brother DR3200 Original Empty Black Drum Unit which we pay £12 for each toner cartridge. There are also a number of HP CE505A Original Empty Black Toner Cartridges (we pay £2.75 each), HP CB436A Original Empty Black Toner Cartridges (we pay £3 each) and there’s 2 x HP CC364X Original Empty High Capacity Black Toner Cartridges which we pay £6.25 for each. Running a printer cartridge recycling and collection scheme can be a time-consuming business.

It can be a bit messy too. When recycling and packing up the old printer cartridges sometimes the ‘not-quite-empty’ inkjet and toner cartridges can leak. It’s OK when it’s a small number of cartridges, every now and then, but if you are running a big collection scheme for your school or charity then it can be quite a pain.

We think we’ve come up with the answer to these problems and instead of encouraging you to run a collection scheme yourself we suggest you simply encourage your supporters to send their cartridges direct to us.

Simply by promoting our inkjet and toner cartridge recycling scheme on your charity and school website, and in your email newsletters, fund-raisers can generate the same amount of funds but without any of the hassle.

We arrange free courier pick-up from all your supporters, be they from parents, friends or local companies.

All you need to do is add a link on your website and emails to our website here http://www.gtrecycling.com/recycle .

Your school or charity will get paid the full amount that your supporter donates. All they need to do is fill in the form on our website, with your organisation’s name and we take care of the rest. You can also easily add this link to your Facebook Fan Pages/Linked-in profiles, even your blog, Twitter pages and more.

We’re a small but growing toner and inkjet cartridge recycling company in Peterborough and are having a big year since launching our online recycling cash calculator, on our website here; http://www.gtrecycling.com/recycle .

Our recyclers are saying nice things about the website since we display an ‘instant’ price we pay for their empty cartridges. And my colleagues here on the GreenTech Recycling Helpdesk are doing a good job organising free pick-up of their cartridges and then sending payments to all our recyclers and charities/schools within 14 days.  (more…)

We have a few new ideas and designs to improve our recycle printer cartridges website that we’ll be developing over the coming weeks. We hope to make the whole process faster and the website easier to use, so you can input all the cartridges you are recyling into the website faster.

Here’s the first of the pages we have started to design. We’ll be posting updates over the coming week hoping for our customers feedback. If you have any ideas/comments/feedback then we’d love to hear from you. Simply send me an email to paul (at) gtrecycling.com and I’ll be very grateful.

The website redesign project will take a few weeks to complete but we are hoping to have all the feedback from current recycling customers by the end of October. So if you have any ideas then please do email me. Thanks.

Paul.
