England | Household Recycling Rate hits 40.8%

England household waste recycling and composting has reached 40.8% in 2010/11, as per the stats released by DEFRA, Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs. The England’s house hold recycling rate has shown the rise of 1.1% from 39.7% achieved in the FY 2009/2010.

The figures reveal that 40.1% of municipal waste was recycled or composted in year 2010, while 44.2% of it was destined for the landfills. Moreover the rate of household waste production has also gone down to 23.2 million tonnes in the same period.

How do I pack the cartridges?

Our couriers will charge us per box so try to get as many cartridges into one box as possible, but please ensure they are safely packed to avoid damage in transport.

Please make sure your cartridges are packed in boxes as the couriers will not accept bags, or loose cartridges for these types of products.  Please ensure boxes do not weigh more than 20kg.

As a rule we normally only pay for cartridges that appear on the website, however at times we can pay for some orignal (OEM) cartridges which do not appear on the website. We never pay for remanufactured or compatible cartridges but we can recycle them for you free of charge if they are returned with OEM’s worth £20 or more or if you cover the shipping costs.
