Industrial Technology Research Institute, Taiwan has launched a new next generation erasable and re-useable e-Paper. This paper is being considered as an excellent replacement for the paper signs and posters which are produced daily in the millions.
The paper is known as i2R e-Paper that can be used 260 times, and needs no back light for printing. It can be produced in several colours. Re-printing is done by simply erasing the already written text by passing an electric current through it.
According to the researchers the mass production for the i2R paper will take two years. Then, we will be in a state to save few trees and environment. Until then, help environment by recycling your empty printer cartridges with GreenTech.
