GreenTech's inkjet and toner cartridge recyclers are saying some great things about us again. Here's what they said about the GreenTech printer cartridge recycling service in June 2010:

So far in 2010, GreenTech have paid thousands of recyclers, tens of thousands of pounds for recycling their waste inkjet and toner printer cartridges.

Getting paid to recycle - More happy recyclers this week
We've been speaking again to many of our new recyclers who have been sending us their empty printer cartridges ready for recycling at our factory here in Peterborough.
A couple of recyclers had problems finding their cartridges on the GreenTech website so we are investigating these problems. Don't forget to call the GreenTech Recycling Helpdesk if you need some help or have any problems with the website.
Here's a selection of the amounts we have been paying and some of the comments we have received about the GreenTech printer cartridge recycling service:
- Ruth got paid £40.50 and said "I'm very happy with my first ever cartridge recycling 'experience'. Website easy to use"

Cartridge recyclers cash-in on new website
We have just spoken to some very happy recyclers that are getting paid by using GreenTech's new Cartridge Recycling Cash Calculator. Here's what they've been saying:- Nicola got paid £32.45 for recycling her printer cartridges and said she's "Very happy with the service, found the website easy to navigate".
- Marie got paid £21.70 and said 'All went smoothly at every stage. Got cheque fine".
- Kenneth got paid £131.30 and said he 'found the website easy to use and he was kept well informed of the progress at every stage'
- Suvad got paid £62.50 and said we're all "Very happy with the GreenTech recycling service'.

We ran our regular printer cartridge quality report and found that 98.5% of GreenTech remanufactured cartridges were perfect in December 2009, with the remaining 1.5% found to be faulty. That's up from July's 97.2%.
Industry average faulty rates for remanufactured cartridges usually fall between 3% and 5% so we are pleased with this result, but not complacent. Like Toyota our quality target is 100%, all of the time. So we have again been busy redesigning elements of our recycling process and aim to achieve 99% for January and February. Faster cartridge replacement and returns
We have implemented a new returns process to streamline the way our product returns are processed. In the unfortunate event your customer has a faulty cartridge we can offer an advance replacement using our new 'Swap-it' service where the customer will have a new cartridge delivered and the faulty one collected at the same time. New name for ‘Remanufactured’ – HP trial due to start next week
We are always talking to end-consumers and during conversations with several end consumers last month we found that a large percentage can often be confused by the words ‘Remanufactured’. Many end consumers (both home and business customers) found the term off-putting and said it sounded more like a ‘trade/industrial’ word. Some said this lessened their confidence in purchasing. So to put this research to the test we are running a trial with some of our customers’ websites and trying a new name; 'Recycled Original'. Watch this space for the results and we’ll tell you if sales/perceptions have significantly been improved.

97.2% of our recycled and remanufactured cartridges were perfect in July

The popular GreenTech printer cartridge recycling scheme is currently being revamped by our web design team. And we're looking for beta testers to try out the much improved web interface.
